Needless to say I was nervous!
I like my space and I don't like others in it.
However it turned out to be GREAT! Everyone had lots of fun. All the kids were good and had a blast. They enjoyed going out on the boat...that's what they wanted to do all the time. Ike, who had only gone on on boat ride prior to this little trip, loved the boat so much. I was so impressed with him.
The whole weekend all we did was lay around on the dock, go on boat rides, swim (or just sit in tubes) and play games. The kids would collect rocks then throw them into the water or would 'fish'. They just had a bobber on the line...no hook. But it kept them occupied.
It was such great fun. And to be able to go away for a little bit is so refreshing.
Ike keeps asking when we get to go again.
On the ride home I found a sea turtle in one of the clouds. Do you see it?
I see the turtle in the clouds. I was nervous too about the trip but I loved it once we got there and I relaxed. The packing was the worst and but it was so nice once I got past that.
