3 days and counting

Oh man has life been crazy. We totally move into our very own house on March 2. In case you didn't know that is like this Monday. Which is only 3 days away!!!!! I cant even believe it. It just seems so unreal to me. But I am ever so excited.

We have boxes in almost ever single room of the house. And the front porch of where we currently live is filled with boxes too. I have so much stuff and I haven't even owned my own house before. But stuff just accumulates no matter what I guess.

I must say I am nervous about signing my life away to the bank. They will no own me for the next 30 years!! SCARY!!! But I know that it is so worth it. I did ask Seth last night if he thinks we should do it. He of course thought I was crazy and said of course we should!

I really hope that the boys transition well. Poor little Ikers this is going to be his 4th move in the past 2 years. But it will be his last....well until he gets kicked out for being 21 and still living with me. And I am sure that Q will love not sleeping in my closet anymore. (He was sleeping with Ike in his room but neither one slept well so we moved him to the closet. It is a big closet.)

I can't believe it 3 days!!!!

Trouble Makers

I have got some pretty creative thinking young boys. They are ALWAYS up to something at home. I never have a dual moment with my little guys. Now that Quilon is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up things are getting crazier and crazier. Quilon loves to follow Ike around and be right with his brother in almost everything. They are pretty cute together these days even if that means they are up to no good.


Ike loves pistachios (thanks to Grams) and taking pictures with his camera. What a great self portrait he took!



Quilon now has four teeth and working on growing more. He is drooling like a leaky faucet these days. He has also found the toilet paper. Whenever I can't find him because he has crawled off somewhere I always find him in the bathroom.



Ike made a trail of snacks for Q to follow....kind of like ET and Eliot. Well this ET did not follow. Q just stared at him like he was crazy for putting all of his snacks on the floor.

Oh the joys of having boys!! I LOVE it....they are so much fun.

We Are Getting a HOUSE!!!!!

So lots as happened in the last week for us. Last Wednesday we
decided that we really wanted to pursue getting a house of our own. Well on Monday we found one we loved. We bid on it at like 4:00pm and by 8:30pm we heard back that we were getting us a house!!! So crazy. We are closing on March 2nd. So things are going really fast and crazy for us!! But we are so excited to have our very own house. That means I am not going to live with people other than my own family. I can go to the bathroom and not close the door! I can walk around in my towel! Or naked for that matter! Well maybe not that....I do have little kids that don't need to be traumatized. But you get the idea I am sure. We are just so excited right now. And I am sure everything will work out just fine. I am scared too. That is a lot of money buying a house. But I know that it will be so great!

So details on our house to be:
3 bedroom 1.5 bath and nothing has to be fixed in it! Mind you we will do somethings to it eventually but the house is in great condition. The Living Room and Dining Room has all refinished wood floors and trim. The Kitchen has all appliances included that are actually nice, money saver there! The bedrooms are all really good sized rooms. And Ikes room has pink carpet! He is really excited about that. He is no joke. The roof, water heater, furnace, and AC are all less then 5 years old! And it has AC we haven't ever had central air!!! And it has a nice back yard for my boys to play in! It is so great.....We can't wait till it is ours!!!!
March 2nd get her fast.......which really it will!
